Coach Jeremy Stewart

Speed Development, Football & Athletic Performance Specialist

Jeremy Stewart brings elite athletic experience, professional coaching knowledge, and unmatched speed development expertise to BreakAway Speed. Originally from New Orleans, Jeremy grew up competing in baseball, basketball, football, and track - establishing himself early as a true multi-sport athlete.

After moving to Houston in 2005, Jeremy played running back for Bellaire High School before earning a scholarship to Kilgore Junior College. He later transferred to Ventura College in California, where he played two seasons and earned All-Conference honors in kick returns for both 2008 and 2009. During this time, he ran an official 4.39 laser-timed 40-yard dash and earned a spot on the Nike Grid-Iron Team.

Jeremy was recruited to the University of Houston in 2011 to study kinesiology and continue his football career. In 2014, he recorded a 4.29 forty and a 4.13 shuttle at the Texans NFL Combine - elite marks that reflect his deep understanding of speed, mechanics, and athletic efficiency.

He went to play professional arena football for the Duke City Gladiators as both a running back and wide receiver before a significant knee injury ended his professional football career. His experience rebuilding from injury give him unique insight into safe, effective training.

Jeremy has been coaching boys and girls at BreakAway Speed since 2014. H specializes in speed development, football skill work, baseball movement patterns, and youth personal training. He leads classes, clinics, and private sessions with a coaching style that is technical, energetic, and athlete-centered.

His ability to connect with young athletes - while demanding proper mechanics and effort - produces consistent, long-term results. Jeremy's goal is to help every athlete unlock speed, confidence, and competitive maturity that carries far beyond sports.
