Coach Jason Conway

Baseball Pitching & Throwing Mechanics Specialist

Jason Conway is a Houston native and lifelong baseball player who brings years of experience, discipline, and technical pitching knowledge to BreakAway Speed. Growing up on the south side of Houston, Jason began playing baseball at the age of six and developed a deep love for the game that shaped both his athletic and professional goals.

He attended Bellaire High School, where he lettered as a pitcher and outfielder for the Cardinals. His strong work ethic, competitive spirit, and understanding of the game helped prepare him for future roles in coaching and athlete development.

Jason went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business from the University of Kansas, graduating in 2020. His academic background complements his on-field experience, giving him a strong foundation in sports leadership, athlete psychology, performance management, and skill development.

Jason plans to pursue a full-time professional career in sports and has already taken major steps in that direction. He is the Co-Founder and Assistant Head Coach of the Houston Stingers Baseball Club, a growing youth select organization focused on developing competitive baseball athletes through fundamentals, discipline, and proper technique.

At BreakAway Speed, Jason specializes in pitching lessons, teaching athletes how to improve mechanics, arm health, control, consistency, and mound presence. His coaching style is patient, technical, and encouraging — designed to help pitchers of all ages build confidence and long-term success.
