Coach Kristin Stewart
Softball Hitting, Slapping, Pitching & Fielding Specialist
Kristin Stewart is a highly accomplished softball coach and former Division I athlete who brings elite-level skill training and competitive insight to every athlete she works with. A standout at Bellaire High School, Kristin earned 1st Team All-District honors at both second and third base, and finished as runner-up All-State her senior year. She was also ranked three times as a top 10 hitter in the Greater Houston Area - a testament to her consistency, mechanics, and game IQ.
Kristin continued her playing career with Houston Power 18 Gold before earning a Division I softball scholarship to UTEP. She later joined the University of Houston softball program, playing as a versatile utility athlete with experience at second base, third base, and in the outfield. After redshirting due to illness recovery, Kristin returned with an even deeper appreciation for the technical and mental aspects of developing hitters.
Her specialty areas include hitting, slapping, pitching fundamentals, footwork, defensive technique, and overall softball athleticism. Kristin's coaching style is detailed, supportive, and highly focused on proper mechanics. She helps athletes refine their swing, improve timing, generate power, and build confidence in their ability to perform on the field.
Kristin works with softball athletes of all ages, providing instruction in hitting slapping, pitching, fielding, and personal training for strength and movement. Her passion for the sport, combined with her high-level playing background, makes her on of Houston's most well-rounded softball performance coaches.
