Coach Caitlin Goldwait
Softball Hitting, Slapping & Fielding Specialist
Caitlin Goldwait is a former Division I softball standout from Furman University, where she played four seasons as an outfielder and contributed as both a hitter and a slapper. Her competitive career is marked by consistency, intelligence, and strong all-around performance - qualities she now brings to the athletes she coaches.
Throughout her collegiate career, Caitlin earned numerous honors, including:
- 3x All-Academic Team
- All-Freshman Team
- 2x Second Team All-Conference
- Preseason First Team All-Conference
In a tournament hosted by the University of Alabama, she was named to the All-Tournament Team after hitting an impressive .550 for the weekend. Caitlin also holds the Furman program record for the most consecutive hits in a game, going a perfect 5-for-5.
She graduated from Furman University in May 2025 with a degree in Politics and International Affairs, earning magna cum laude honors, consistent placement on the Dean's List, and departmental awards for academic excellence. She plans to attend law school while continuing to impact athletes through coaching.
Caitlin's coaching focuses on hitting, slapping, fielding, footwork, and building strong offensive and defensive skills. She is passionate about helping young athletes develop confidence, athletic identity, and proper mechanics through a supportive yet detail-oriented approach. Her experience at the Division I level - paired with her high academic discipline - enables her to teach athletes how to elevate both their technique and their mindset.
